Yet again, David Plotz starts out discussing a problem for Obama and turns it into an opportunity to bash Hillary Clinton. Claiming that Obama will pander to the electorate on economics, he explains it by bashing Hillary's support for a gas tax holiday while ignoring Barack's many "refinements" to pander for votes. May I remind you David that Hillary is no longer in the race? Your candidate won, get over it! No wonder groups like PUMA are still upset with Obama supporters, some people could really learn to win gracefully.

Also, your analysis of the cookie recipe is way off base. It's one thing to not use the high end chocolate discs (which should be available to you in NY or DC, unlike for many of your readers across the country) but to omit the cake flour without reason and then ridicule the effort that went in to making the recipe is ridiculous. You're clearly not bakers and some of us enjoy working to perfect a recipe. I hope you enjoyed the cookies you made, but please don't blame Jacques Torres for a recipe you chose not to follow.
