Obama...damned if he doesn't and damned if he does
by Loree

So you think people aren't crazy And you think Republicans, especially McCain and the crowd he hangs with, don't FLIP-FLOP?! Think again.

For months McCain belittled and bitched that Obama hadn't been to the Middle east, so 'what did he know' about foreign affairs?'

And now that Obama is leaving tomorrow, on a far more reaching fact finding tour than McCain was brave enough to attempt, those Republican whiners are firing a whole new volley of accusations and charges at the popular figure, including that Obama is 'campaigning world-wide now, and not just in this country.

Sheesh, they are never satisfied unless they are bitching, screaming, and hollering....maybe they should have been more careful of 'what they wished for', since Obama is FAR more popular worldwide, than is McCain, the Bush third term in waiting.

To which I say, 'tough shit....you guys got what you wanted, and it has come back to bite you on the ass....that is a good thing and may be your un-doing!'

McCain keeps insisting that he should
by Boltlady
talk to Gen Petraeus who is a known shill for Bush.

It will be a lot more interesting to see who else he might talk to and what they might have to say.

Both of the above posts demonstrate Liberal ignorance.

Obama is going to Germany for a photo-op and to give a rally speech. McCain goes to Columbia and meets with heads of State and discusses hostage rescues.

Obama now says, he has always said that he would follow the advice of the commanders on the ground. Who is a higher ranking commander on the ground than Patraeus? You might also remember that as the commander of the entire Middle East war theatre, Petraeus was also approved by the Congress. This ia a man with a distinguished military career.

You two, Looney, Lying Loree and conspiracy theorist Boltlady are completely misinformed about Obama's trip to Europe. Even the Germans don't know what to do with the arrogant "candidate" who wants them to treat him as if he is already President; a job he likely will never hold.

Obama is a showman and a LIAR. I see the mutual attraction for you Liberal ladies, you are both into the same category. Looney makes up lies; Boltlady thrives on them.

This isn't the only place in the world, tha is ready for change in the US....the rest of the WORLD is wanting a change of leadership in this country. I predict that most places Obama goes, he will be treated as if the election has already taken place, and he was the winner of that.

It's a good thing for McCain that Americans are the only ones voting, or he would get the trouncing of his life.

There is a HUGE message, in large, block letters, in that fact, but sadly, the Republicans won't be able to see nor read it.

And that is another good thing:-)

A lot of people feel like I do...we feel cheated of our inheritance and reputation, which was gained at such high cost over the years, to now be in the toilet with the rest of the world. All squandered away, with no second thoughts at all, by a blood thirsty, power hungry Neocon administration that is the ultimate in the new 'ME' generation.

Our compassion and friendship with the rest of the world, which let us enjoy a reputation for being 'Number One' has been lost and will take much effort by someone other than a Republican, to even try to rebuild the trust and envy we once had, from other countries, worldwide.

Indeed, we are the laughing stock now, of most of the world, who are not ashamed of standing up to us now. Which proves to me that holding the dangers from extremists world wide, is more easily held at bay, when we have a lot of staunch friends outside our borders, and NOT through the use of force, which only becomes a breeding ground of hatred.

Wonder why Bush never learned that lesson, and neither did his radical attendants, such as Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Rice, and the rest of that elite group? And we the people, are scoffed at, for being stupid enoughg to give them free reign for 8 years, wringing our hands, but doing nothing about it. For that particular feat, we DO deserve the disdain of the rest of the world.

Quit bitching and whining, you over grown
by Loree

cry baby.............he WILL be in Iraq, and though you will find this a bitter pill to swallow, he WILL be talking to the commanders on the ground.

You whine like he isn't going there...well he is, so now you can flip-flop and start to bitch about his going there, if that makes you feel better.

What a nerd you are.........you don't know a damned thing about Obama except what you manage to glean and retain, which isn't a whole lot, from Faux news, and the like.

Get a grip, jerk.

There is some reason we don't let the "rest of the world" vote on who leads the USA. There is damn good reason for it.

Bush is received with "honor" in every country he has visited. There seem to be only a few governments with real issues with Bush, i.e. Hugo Chavez's Venezuele and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad' Iran. France, Germany, the Middle East in general seem quite comfortable with a man who speaks his mind; tells it like it is. They won't find that on Obama, because Obama is a lying sack of shit.

I'm not concerned with the "disdain" of Liberal Europe, neither is Bush and that's one reason I support him so strongly. He isn't President of the "world" he is President of the most powerful country in the World... that in it's self causes anamosity from some; probably even you. But there is this feeling I have that even Liberals in American have little value to the rest of the world, they are sheep and they are trying to elect a "black sheep" to lead this democracy and that's a shame.

Even half the Democrats agree, Obama is not the one, not ready to even answer the phone in the White House much less flaunt his candidacy around the world.

He is the first potential candidate to try to address foreigners in a political forum... He's crazy and so are you.

Who is Obama representing? And what exactly has he done in his lifetime to merit appropriating the Brandenburg Gate as a campaign prop?

Barack Obama wants to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He figures it would be a nice backdrop. The supporting cast — a cheering audience and a few fainting frauleins — would be a picturesque way to bolster his foreign policy credentials.

What Obama does not seem to understand is that the Brandenburg Gate is something you earn.

President Reagan earned the right to speak there because his relentless pressure had brought the Soviet empire to its knees and he was demanding its final "tear down this wall" liquidation.

When President Kennedy visited the Brandenburg Gate on the day of his "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech, he was representing a country that was prepared to go to the brink of nuclear war to defend West Berlin.

He's received "with honor" because it's protocol, and they will try to be nice to him because they are honorable people. There were protests in the streets, though, in nearly every place he went, so you can't saay he was overwhelmingly welcomes by all.

He's a sack of shit, BTW. he and his best buddies, the rich, are getting richer off this "war on terror" and he doesn't want it to end.

********Don't you think these foriegn leaders laugh at him behind his back for his stupid remarks - - - and for putting his hands on women of state??????

He's shameful.

What foreign leader isn't dealing with more turmoil? The UK has serious financial problems and gasoline that cost you $4 cost them $10 to $12.

The only ones that could possibily be laughing are the ones living the good times; and you'll please name those for us, won't you???

Everytime the USA has been involved in a conflict the Liberals in Europe are in the streets protesting, what's new?

Do you remember the Viet Nam era.

Korea?.

Veterans from both sides are heard tomorrow and Wednesday in an account of the crossing of the 38th parallel by the U.N. forces, which prompted a powerful counterattack by Chinese "volunteers." Also covered are President Harry S. Truman's dismissal of MacArthur for going public with his proposal to attack mainland China; the brainwashing of American prisoners of war, and the charges, orchestrated by the world political left, that the United States was using germ warfare. (No definitive conclusion is offered on the accuracy of those charges.)
