I don't think so. I expect a blow out. People who cherish individual liberty might hold their noses and vote for him just to stop Obama, but he does not inspire conservatives at all. Obama owns the center left and the left. That leaves McCain with only the center right. He has some supporters in the center, but most in the center are going to go with Obama, because McCain is old, McCain is a war monger and Obama promises more freebies.

I expect the popular vote to be about 65-35. I expect McCain to win a dozen states at the most.
