Don't look now LC, but we're still in the throes of the biggest embarrassment to ever contaminate the oval office...and in case you've forgotten, he (BUSH) is white, and a REPUBLICAN! Do they get any worse? Only if they are white, and pick on underage pages, and again, are REPUBLICAN.

Is your only gripe about Sheila Jackson complaining that all hurricanes have had 'white' names? Because my own is being ashamed of how Bush and Homeland Security responded to Katrina....to me that was then, and still is, the big issue about Katrina...so much so that I don't CARE what Sheila Jackson says, for she is telling the truth, which is a far cry better than what this administration, which IS REPUBLICAN, has EVER done to the population of this country, no matter WHAT their color.

Now that is real leadership.....NOT!

Actually the Congresswoman's comments were truthful and a fact, when one stops to think about it, so I'd say she had every reason to 'complain' if she wanted, though personally, I think there were many more SERIOUS things she could have complained about as well...like the war, what was happening to our constitution, and many, MANY more.

And until one has walked in another's shoes for YEARS, and felt them pinch, we have no idea what it is like, and how deep the hurt goes.

It will be interesting to see what we whites complain about, when WE are the minority in this country....we may get a really big dose of being on the receiving end of racism.

One thing about it...that should be an eye-opener for more than a few:-)
