Most fighters are by nature violent! That's how they get their fighting done, most fighter's wan't to fight. Most young men, especially testosterone driven alpha males are hypersexual hence the jokes about four year old girls. This is the real world, you can't be a philosopher and fight wars. If you are a philosopher you will stop being one very quickly. I'm not a soldier, just a martial artist, but I appreciate the violence shown in the series, all male fighters are like that, perhaps even female fighters in a muted way. In life you try to do the things you enjoy, if you push to be part of an elite fighting unit, then you enjoy fighting. If you don't enjoy fighting though many people boyh inside and outside of the military do, see martial artists and olympic wrestlers and judoka, then you dont go to fight!

They just have a different point of view from the writer, though I think if they overstep a legal or moral line, they should be put in prison. However wanting to fight and loving fighting, in my opinion is not immoral
