Well, did they enlist?

"And Steve King, R-Iowa, tells of that terrible day on Sept. 11 when his own grown sons vowed that 'if there is one more attack, we're all going to join the military.' "

Did any of them enlist or, like the chickenhawks they are, did they, whilst on the way to the mall, just stand there and cheer wildly as someone else's sons and daughters marched off into harm's way?

I like the condition: September 11 itself wasn't reason enough for them to enlist; they needed another attack to occur before they enlisted. What a bizarre statement. And I will bet all my money they never did enlist.

What, the anthrax letters weren't good enough for them? Somehow for the anthrax, they have to wait for definite proof that it came from the Mideast, while for WMD in Iraq, I feel sure they probably didn't wait for any proof.

I'd like to know what they've sworn to do in the event of a third attack. Whoo, I bet it's bad.

They meant that if we had rebuilt the World Trade Center, and then another group of dark-skinned Middle Easterners destroyed them by flying airplanes into them, preferably on a day with the date 9/11, they would have been all over joining the military.
