What's the change you are referring to?

I am not the one to answer this one,Cotton. Being a new Independent is very liberating.

When you have no use for either party you can say what you like.

Both McCain and Obama are pandering to any audience they stand in front of and are not ashamed that they are both liars.

Now watch the dems come on and chastise me,saying, If I do not vote,mcCain will win.

Oh,the horror of one pandering polititician winning! :o)

what change ??
by iwasme

your just regurgitating republican propaganda.

why are you doing that? what is your purpose?

another comment on the stupid top post.

wouldn't it be obvious that Obama would have to be a politician par excellence to get where he's at?

Well to answer your question

I didn’t like the FISA vote, his support for faith base programs wasn’t a surprise he’s an evangelical, death penalty for child rapist, he’s a father of two young daughters again no surprise, guns, he’s from the South Side of Chicago, and finally the refinement of the pullout from Iraq, McCain’s people pushed the “he’s changing his position” spin. He’s always said he would be responsible in pulling our troops out. If it takes longer so be it, but the goal remains the same. He’s moved to the center, I’m cool with that, and he’s trying to win this thing. If you run for president you’re a politician, that's the profession. That’s, true of Ron Paul, Barr, Nader anyone.

So far I can't think of one single position that Obama hasn't done a 180 on, lied about or tried to slip under the publics nose with a wink wink nod nod to the parties involved.

He "didn't know" half the people he has been associating with for decades and has thrown almost all of them under the bus to further his political aspirations.

Obama isn't an agent of change, he is just another lying liberal pretending to be a conservative so as to fool those who aren't hard core nutbags into voting for him.

I'm not surprised at all...my support for Obama is limited, I am not stupid and some things have their own motion, whatever anyone says (like, for instance, "Brownie, you are doing a good job.") Yak yak yak yak does not make it so. If they want to not debate the surge, and pretend it was successful, that will only come back to haunt them.

Anyway, Obama's candidacy alone is changing things, and will change them more, much more.

Besides, if you want to be president of the US these days, you have to live in la la land to some extent...afterall, Bush and his corporate bakcers have put us there.

People are correct when they say that a movement is needed to check or liberate any president, but no movement will form without leadership; and there is no leadership; and there is also no overpowering situation yet that forces mass change and action.

P.S. in the real world, from what I can tell, Obama is part of the Carter section of the Democratic Party, those forces, those companies. He is not Clintonian.

Considering that Carter made the only real advances, and strategically correct moves since Nixon/Kissinger and China, that at least will move the situation...since world war is not an option given the nuclear winter, its necessry that we have SMART people in office, not these stupid, brutish dumbass Cons.

P.S. Greed never saved a single nation, or republic...the most incredible practical smarts and great courage did, you brain farting brain dead con artists are a recipe for Hitler in a bunker and Germany dead on the ground, with no men of marrying age left. COmpared to that, I'll take my chances with Obama ANY day.
