Hey, Barack Obama, WE WON the

war in Iraq.

The surge of troops that you opposed did the trick. Bush has brought almost all of them home. Eh.

And what is this about you want to pull the rest of our troops out of Iraq. Aren't we entitled to a few powerful military bases like the ones we had in Saudi Arabia, the ones we have in South Korea, in Iraq to protect us from the Iran's of the Mid East?

How come you haven't been over to Iraq to see first hand that WE WON the war in Iraq.

I can see why Dem Congressman Murtha is staying away after what he did to our Marines over there, but you?

Barack Obama is the name, conning the nation is his game.

My personal opinon formed from listening and watching this Left Wing Chicago Politician.

1. Ok if the surge was successful, then let's leave.

2. If the surge was not a success, let's leave.

The war in Iraq was sold to as as intended to overthrow Saddam because he had ties to 911 and he had WMDs. In any case, there are no WMDs in Iraq and Saddam is dead.

3. The Maliki government has now asked for a timeline that we will be pulling the guys out. Let's leave.

We do not need bases in Iraq. We have bases in Kuwait and Afghanistan. Why in hell would we want to stay in a hell hole like Iraq? It makes sense to have bases in Germany and Japan....(Great beer and sushi).

By the way, Obama has been to Iraq.

ROFLMAO

we bribed the sunnis not to shoot at us.

250,000,000 per yesr.

some victory.

when the bribes start the civil war will start again.

900 days ago Obama was in Iraq.

Barack Obama is his name conning the nation is his game.

BTW can you tell us how many troops the Soviet Union deployed to Afhganistan...include air force and tank armies.

I think what did it was Obama telling
by Skeptical3

Iran that he would go one on one with no pre conditions.

That is what stopped Iran from training funding, supplying leading troops against the US in Iraq.

You think?

1. You asked why Obama hadn't been there. The truth is that he had been.

2. What does the invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviets have to do with the invasion of Iraq by the US?

3. Why did McCain lie about what he saw in Iraq? Why did he imply that the stroll thru the Baghdad market was perfectly safe, when in fact there were about 200 troops guarding him, along with 2 helicopter gunships? Why did McCain say that Gen. Petraeus traveled around in an unarmed humvee, when that wasn't true?

4. Why did McCain attempt to mislead people into thinking that he'd voted for the new GI bill, when he was actually at a fund raiser in LA?

Conning the nation? Talk to George W. McCain about his plans for his 3rd term.

We still have more troops in Iraq than before the surge.

But if you say we won I agree.

Heck the mission was accomplished years ago.

And as it wasn't about stealing the Iraqis oil and their government is asking us to set a time table and leave isn't it time to do so?

PS - Do you think Bush flying in secretly and carving a turkey counts as visiting Iraq?

but, but...
by NorCal

if we leave now, there will be a blood bath, they will follow us here, Iran will fill the void.

You fuckin Pugs are sick in the head.

What?

Is "we won" the now AM talk radio line?

Nothing's changed over the past few months.

You claim that "Bush has brought almost all of them home" is an idiotic lie.

Bush is trying to figure out a way to leave them there permanently in 58 bases, something McCain supports.

But, Malaki wants them gone. Strange, when he said that publically last week, all you wingnuts looked the other way.

I guess Fox and Rush didn't mention his call for our withdrawal.

OR maybe its because his call made Bush and company so obviously uncomfortable.

Now, your heroes are pretending that the Iraq war is over, when there is little evidence of it.

And now McCain is claiming that the Bush adminstration has been leading open regional dialogue over Iraq, something that is plainly false (in fact, both McCain and the Bush adminstration have routinely opposed any such dialogue).

Oddly, McCain is now calling for the extension of this fictional regional dialogue to the war in Afghanistan.

Which, as in Iraq, happens to be Obama's position, and has been for nearly a year.

Hummm...

I think the right wing spin machine is trying to sow the seeds of confustion out there in wingnut world by again trying to redefine reality and rewrite history.

Experience shows that this works with the 19%ers every time (you all seem to believe whatever Rush, Sean, O'Liely, or Fox tell you without question).

We'll We'll see if enought of the reality based community will fall for it this time.

When the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, who supplied the stingers, training, intel.....to the Afghans?

What does it mean to you that the Iraqis are able to get weapons from Iran?

There has been no proof that I've read that the Iranians are either training or leading the Iraqis. During the years of warfare between Saddam and Iran, there were many Iraqis who fled to Iran. They are still there. The Iraqis raised a brigade of troops to fight against Saddam, the Badr corps...they were based in Iran for many years and are now back in Basra. Who knows if the government of Iran is sending weapons or if Iraqis living in Iran are helping the Badr people? It isn't like the border is the sort of civil arrangement we have with Canada.

I want to know, what pre-conditions did Reagan get from Gorbachev before they met?

McCain even claimed that body armor wasn't needed for his little shopping expedition. Does he know about things like cameras?

He is either incredibly dishonest or his memory is shot.

McCain was spinning, we know he was spinning. Not as badly as Obama was when he said he wanted to renegotiate NAFTA to Iowa while telling Canada "don't listen to what I am saying, I am just telling them this so I can get elected" but he was spinning.

You are talking about 1. things that McCain said on camera vs 2. things that some campaign aid is supposed to have said to a Canadian consular official (which is still in dispute as to what was actually said).....

In any case, the problem with Nafta is not Canada, it is Mexico. If there was something that we should re-negotiate it is their environmental and pay rules.

What part of the agreement, as it pertains to Canada, would you suggest needs to be changed?
