I love V-Dubs. Always have (as you may be able to tell by my nic...lol).

The technology's out there (not only VW).

Hell, there's a lot of prototypes floatin' around like that.

But the reality is that it's going to take as many years to get out of this "gas hog" mess, as it took to get into it.

One of the things that needs to be taken into account, is the fact that people are going to be weighing (as they're doing now) the high cost of these new "high mileage" fuel efficient vehicles with the, somewhat, moderate payment (in some cases), low mileage, large, vehicles that they're driving now.

Would hate to get popped by a Suburban in that thing.

And the Unions that told dumbDems how to vote for years on end... And the knuckled under ignorant Unionize workers that brought home such garbage as "we vote with the Union and the Union will take care of us"...

And to continue, Yes, your wife's Union that has taught our children Lib values from anti-Christ to environmentalism... birds and bugs, more important than people...Can't drill for oil here or there or anywhere because...why? And yes I sell Chinese bicycles when I get them traded in and I don't know about my clothes but I recently ordered a pair of work boots from Masons and sure enough they were shipped in from China...first ones ever but I must buy there for not many places sell size 9EEEE boots...
