Why can't bush beat the terrorists?
by Smiley1979
+1 Reply

It's pretty pathetic how bush has failed to catch OBL and can't seem to beat the Taliban, Al Qaeda, or Tasneem. One has to wonder what he's doing wrong. Well, while the complete list of bush fuckups would exceed the space allowed here, I can point to at least one.

There are too many names of innocent people on the terrorist watchlist.

Now of course you're asking, "how does Smiley, even as incredibly intelligent as he is, know there are innocent people on the watchlist?" Simple, and thanks for noticing. That was very nice of you to say.

Because Nelson Mandela isn't a terrorist. Neither is every person named Robert Johnson. Or Evo Morales, president of Bolivia. And while the 9/11 hijackers were, in fact, terrorists, they're dead. But 14 of them are still on the terrorist watchlist. See some more from the useless, borderline comical terrorist watchlist here:

Do these people have any clue what they're doing?

Because terrorists don't fight terrorists!
Have you seen

or caught wind of Frank Rich's review of the new book about Bush's failure's RE the lead-up to 9-11?

I think it's called the Dar Side of somethin like that.

I read the Rich piece this am - very interesting.

Well there's that too

But even given the fact that bush and the terrorists are two sides of the same coin, you'd think they'd take world leaders and dead people off the terrorist watchlist.

What do you consider "beaten"?

Do you have someone in mind who could accomplish that goal (of beaten) depending on the definition?

Well for starters...

He could have tried to catch OBL, which is something absolutely anyone else would have done.

What makes you think he hasn't?
He said so

Sounds like a bit of rope a dope to me...

(almost as funny as people thinking no one is currently in Pakistan is hunting him or other terrorists despite the public proclamations from the foreign minister)

Seriously... do you think no one is hunting him or other terrorists?

Come out come out... we aren't looking anymore

Sheesh...

Are you looking for any honesty?

Not from Slimey?

You got a better chance of witnessing a shark and a lion getting by lightning while screwing.

So bush is still lying then
by Smiley1979

Not that hard to believe actually. You're saying he's just pretending he doesn't care about OBL as part of a clever ruse to lull OBL into a false sense of security. Like hustling pool.

And regardless of whatever double-super-secret missions are being conducted to catch OBL, he hasn't been caught. So is bush not trying, or just plain incompetent?

Thanks for playing erica

It's always nice to see you throw your one cent in.

Yeah, I don't indulge in bizarre, fact-free fantasies about Special Ops hunting down OBL. Sorry, I stick to reality.
