This guy has never served. Nice response to a fellow who writes blogs and, as my students might frame it, "whatever's" for Slate. The dude is a dope. Maybe the series sucks, will have to wait and see. Hey, most of us don't get to see these things ahead of time. The Wire was a nice piece work though, so we shall see. As regards the idot's editorial statements? Hmmmm clearly, "Bad Call" could not have said it better. I use the book in my seminar in national security policy...(yea, I teach at a college) sick to death of dopey critical remarks such as this review. So "lunkhead" grab a 16 and serve, then report.
