Let's not forget how awful a writer Elvis is/was. He could not write a 'straight' review; he wrote puzzles. And as the reader would muddle through Mitchell's obfuscatory prose, the reader would be left wondering whether Mitchell liked the movie and why should anyone care.
That being said, Elvis is not an awful interviewer, combining cheerful bonhommie with a clear love for film and film talent. Keep him next to a mike and far away from a pen/keyboard.
