Will he call someone "A big fat idiot" on the Senate floor?

If I were in 5th grade and had to write a speech for student council president and called it "Cindy Anderson is a big, fat idiot" my teacher would have made me re-write it and apologise to Cindy Anderson.
Why?
Because not only is it rude and obnoxious, the assignment was to debate issues, not just make nasty comments about my opponent.
So it's hard for me to take Al "Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat idiot" Franken seriously as a politician when much of his "humor" revolves around just making ad hominem attacks against people he disagrees with.
(which, ironically, is the reason Limbaugh and O'Reilly would make bad politicians as well)
That book, and much of the content of his failed radio show, is mostly just one, long, obnoxious rant not serious debate of ideas.
The current, childish "You're stupid! No, you're stupid!" level of debate in Washington is bad enough as-is.
For instance, "freedom fries"?
I tired of the old French presidents duplicity as well, but that's the sort of thing that, if a student council body tried in 5th grade, would be vetoed by the teacher because "It's mean and rude to french people...as well as immature. How do you think the foreign exhance student feels?"
We really don't need more of that crap on the Senate floor.
