As a person who has worked as a private home chef, no one was watching my untrained knife skills and counting the uneven dices of onions. They were however expecting fabulous tasting food, which was rendered. By myself I have done dinner parties for 30 people. Presentation of delicious looking dishes is by far superior to how you use a knife.

At least poor berated Andrew was in the kitchen trying his best to prepare something, instead of waiting for it to be presented and gobbled down in 5 minutes.

To make lovely and delicious food one must love to be a servant of the kitchen and that is the tantric zen of the cooking situation.
