How come no great Fourth of July

Fireworks Display on TV from San Francisco?

Great shows from Boston, NYC and Seattle.

No patriots in San Fran? Isn't that the hang out of Ms Pelosi, the Speaker of Our House of Ill Repute?

Maybe we should base a division of marines in San Fran to make things all ship shape and military like with Home Coming Parades for Iraq Vets and stuff.

........or missed-out on the LAST time they closed the Golden Gate Bridge for 7 hours.... It caused such a gridlock it took 3 days to straighten it all out again. It's OBVIOUS you don't live in a place with any type of TRAFFIC issues.

GOT ta' just LOVE idiots like you! You just don't seem to ever realize when you literally appear to everyone as your "True Self"... (Information Challenged? ; Being nice about it).... BUT..... What ever caters to your biases, right?.... Go gas-up your car and smoke a cigarette... You’ll feel better.

I STILL want to burn-down YOUR HOUSE in a celebration of my patriotism!!!!

Probably a rational reason for no fire works.......wouldn't have been able to seen the rockets red glare through the beautiful damp fog, or afraid to burn down Alcatraz, that forested wonder of the bay, or they simply may have spent all of their celebration budget on the recent ruling by California's State Supreme Court.

Have a good posting day.

SF Metro Traffic Facts for the Neo-Challenged:
by Qtec90

Annual average daily traffic (AADT) Golden Gate Bridge: 100000 vehicles.... On a holiday, it would be safe to say that would increase by one third.

www.mtc.ca.gov/library/state_of_the_system/2006/toll_bridge_traffic.pdf

Divert 100000 vehicles to go at least 35 miles out of their way on freeways that also have traffic gridlock problems of their very own.

Shut down a major / primary artery of traffic on the busiest traffic day of the year for at least a day (Whereas most fireworks shows in fact take up-to 3 days to actually set-up) .... not including the cleanup time needed before it could be reopened to traffic...

Oh no............say it ain't so! That (once) little blue collar city across the bay, the home of the Zodiac. It's been in decline and in a long slow death since Mare Island was closed.

Have a good posting day.
