How many of you are really bothered by Obama's "moves" to the center?

I'm not a left or a right but I think Barack Obama is doing what it takes to win and only following a sound political strategy to make it happen. He is a politician just doing what politicians do and calling it "new and change".

His base isn't going to be disturbed by this because they know he is kidding. One thing you can count on as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow is that Democrats will say anything to get elected.

I am probably about a 2.0 or 1.5 on that scale. I realized Obama wasn't out on the extremes quite a while ago. It wasn't a surprise. He didn't change, people just figured out that the whole Republican clamor about his being way out on the extreme left was a bunch of bull. Geez, all you have to do to understand that he isn't on the extremes is listen to the guy and see what he has done legislatively and read what he has written.

As the greatest Liberal here (I rate myself at least a 5), I have to say that I really appreciate the autocratic Osmabama Socialist moving to the center. This will disenfranchise his base.
