I misread this the first time I read it. I have to agree with you, it should be the right of a person to seek and receive help in ending their life if they are suffering.

That's what I'm thinking......a person's body is their own, and nobody else's, to decide what to do with it.

I am in complete agreement. A doctor, as in the case you site, can prescribe the right combination of drugs for a painless death. It is a very humane practice.

Here's the way to do it. Rather than someone having to sweep up a victim because he had to do it the hard way, let a doctor prepare a solution for injection by IV, when it is ready let the patient push the button themselves, thus relieving the physician of the burden of doing it for them.

Again, I agree completely. The end is in their control and there is no trauma, for anyone.
