Starts off talking about a "pretty young Israeli woman," then talks about the "change of expression" on her face as she confronts Hamas rocket attacks...goes to idiot Sen. Ben Nelson (yes, he's a Dem, folks) who sympathizes deeply...in between meetings with Israeli leaders about the horrors visited by evil, Muslim terrorists, presumably under Iranian control, who constantly abuse peaceful, innocent Israelis.

Anything wrong with this picture, chumps?

Well, yes...there's ONE thing missing. ANY attempt to understand the situation of said Palestinians....their history, the history of Israel, the fact that they've been dispossessed of their lands and forced into exile, the fact that they're second-class citizens under Israeli rule, the fact that they can be arrested and held indefinitely, even assassinated, if they're 'presumed' to be a 'terrorist' by Israeli aurhorities...etc. etc. etc.

Stupid stuff...and too many Americans and others swallow it whole without even thinking. Just plain bad journalism.

There's nothing "Zionist" much less "right wing" about a story that considers the impact of terrorist violence on the lives of ordinary Israelis. If anything, it's all too rare.

Did the article get a single fact wrong?

Or does any attempt to portray an Israeli as human being so offend your sense of justice?

It simply doesn't take anyone else's interests or problems into account - the whole thing is about nothing but the 'suffering' of Israelis who themselves helped bring about the current problems.

You seem to think a news story is a lie if it does not does not include a complete analysis and history of the region.
