APE RIGHTS
by dixie sky98

THEY ARE ANIMALS!! The people who are championing this don't realize the are lowering themselves to the animal level, not the other way around. These animals, have no idea what is happening around them nor do they care, they would much rather be out in the wilderness with THEIR OWN KIND, then involved with all the loonies running around trying to make them human.

Read the bible: God created man to have dominion over ALL the animals of the earth. He did not create them equal,if He had they would not be animals.

I for one don't even want to be related to animals,I was created in God's image, I am His Child. I did not evolve from a ape, chicken, fish, bird or a piece of dung. I WAS CREATED A HUMAN BEING BY GOD.

Your feelings and desire do not make it so.

The funny thing about this post is it taught me something - I used to assume that it would be very serene to buy entirely into a religious dogma, in that it freed a person from any need to think, ever. Thank you for informing me that even those who replace their own thinking with someone else's dogma still get worked up and upset about things. That's actually comforting to me, in that it eliminates the only benefit I could image to total abdication of thought.

I love it when you creationist nitwits get riled up. As to animals wanting to be with their own kind...I don't blame them for not wanting to associate with humans. (I pity your unfortunate pets.)

Don't feel bad, girlfriend. You've only been around for 7,000 years while the rest of us actually evolved.

And who created the great apes?

By claiming that you (and I) were created human beings by God begs the question of equality of consideration, if only because, if we believe in God as the "creator", all things were/are created by God, and it is only our own self-centered awareness that assumes that we are superior to all of God's creations.

"Dominion" does not necessarily mandate "cruelty," and despite your wants, there are still genetic similarities between us and the apes. Perhaps a few minutes away from the board and any antagonizing posts will give you a chance to consider a few facts, both Biblical and Darwinian.

Rather than instantly bristling in righteous fury, state your point rationally and clearly. God may well have placed us at the top of the ladder, but that doesn't mean we have to dump on those who are (or who we perceive to be) below us, does it?

(That includes other posters as well as the animals we were discussing.)
