Not an attack

The left started political correctness and the right has been shoving it down their throats ever since.

The statement made by Wesley Clark is completely accurate. It is not demeaning nor was it hateful. While McCain should be honored for serving above and beyond the call of duty by enduring torture, that doesn't, in and of itself make him more qualified to be president.

In fact his support of the war in Iraq is more important than his service in Viet Nam, whether you agree with him or not.

McCain has never tried to run on his war record. But being in the military does give you a certain insight that you do not get from the outside.

Obama doesn't even salute the flag and said it was a symbol of oppression.

I think that Obama and his flying monkeys should not even go down that road because he is going to lose that race.

Flying monkeys

What insight are you talking about?

His insightfulness lead him to support Bush, that is a serious flaw.

I also think you are a racist.

It will be President Obama.

He does salute the flag, so did Timothy McVeigh. So what does that get you?Symbolism over accomplishment.Thats what you are advocating.

So your saying that staying in prison camp when he was given the option to leave is symbolic and Obama's talk about change is accomplishment?

What really has Obama accomplished? Not Hyperbole but actual details.

He came from a less than advantageous background and graduated from Harvard. He is of mixed race in a country that still has large racists components (flying monkey man), and more than anything he has run a brilliant campaign. He defeated the most able political machine in this country.

Being imprisoned is a tragedy, and being tortured is an outrage. But that still doesn't mean he is qualified.Remember he did and still does support the war in Iraq.Thats the dumbest thing this country has done since the 1970's(not counting electing W ever).I hold McCain and all that supported the Iraq war responsible and thats enough for me.

Who will you hold responsible for the countless dead in Iraq if the US abandons it?

Why no one of course, certaintly not those who will pull the carpet out from under them once and for all. See Wolf, mass genocide is ok, because its enough (unless of course George Clooney comes along and tells us its not) to say "well we should have never been there anyway" and be done with it.

See how simple that makes the world. Don't you feel better..............

Just tons better-- thanks. That's a huge relief.

I'll be at the bar.

that is it. He got into a big time school and ran a campaign that is in the running because the media was in bed with him. I think any one with half a brain when looking at Where Obama is now in the campaign has to look at what Ferraro said and accept those words as some of the most truthful words ever spoken.

I am not denying racism exists but among those under 30, raised on MTV being black is a positive. I have 3 kids between 20 and 30 and for the most part they are truly enamored with anyone who is black.

The Black voter has jumped on board at rates that are very close to unanimous. 90% support by any group is in and of itself a very large hill to over come. Yes he won in white states which proves that negative racism does not have a significant negative impact on his campaign.

Lastly it is such a good story the press loves it. He can do no wrong, when he is wrong to even comment on it Will result in being called a racist. So even those like Fox who do not support him have to be very careful of what they say or the race card comes out.

McCain supports finishing what was started. I did not support the war but if what is going on with Iran now does not make you consider what would happen if we quickly leave I am not sure where your logic lies.

I think that as a country we might have learned something when W got elected. For the life of me I never could understand what any one saw in him that would deserve their vote. Obama is getting the same kind of blind, thoughtless support yet we assume this is going to be different if he wins. I shake my head as i wonder how long it will be before we learn that following blindly only leads to running into everything that we never saw. Look at the real details of what Obama proposes and pretty much all he is proposing results in much higher costs or taxes for us all, a less energetic economy, and a delusional belief that kind words will win the day. If you are about to be mugged would you rather share a kind word with the mugger or pull a gun and point it at his head.

Everything Obama proposes has been tried before and in every case failed. Change sounds good when you imagine what could be. However, nothing he proposes will lead to a better place.

How can

Any of you be so stupid. The war in Iraq is going to happen whether we are there or not.Finishing what we started, thats exactly what is wrong with McCain. We have finished, Saddam is gone. What else is there?

The continuing presence of the US military in Iraq is a continuing disaster, especially when you consider how it is costing us in every conceivable way.

What a bunch of dummies.
