Umm, Donna, thanks for this tidbit
by brogan

Donna has revealed to us some insight to the Watchtower's lack of help towards humanity. As a representative of God, we should all take note, that she has now enlightened us on God's intentions:

Donna said: And, as far as "working with the sick and poor in the community"...while these are noble endeavors, this is NOT the work that God has assigned his people to do in these last days!

We see here, where the heart of the Jehovah's Witness is. Scripture clearly tells us to to do the above, yet their goal is NOT TO. Yet almost contradictory, hearing them claim their goal is to help people by bringing as many people to Jehovah's New Earth and Kingdom......

Not truly helping is I guess, the easier way.

Just remember JDubs...Christ is paying attention. Other faiths put out millions of Dollars in aid in the form of shelters, food, clothes, utility bill payments for people in need, and more, not to mention the hours of labor involved.

Yes, it is easy to spot God's people if you look.

And as for your supportive scripture on God's people being ridiculed in the last days?.... Most religions are ridiculed, teased and put down. When's the last time you watched the news? Don't be blind.

I will repeat, we do the work that Jesus said MUST be done in the time of the end, the SAME work that Jesus himself did, and the SAME work that he taught his disciples to do...that of preaching "this good news of the kingdom", "and then the end will come". (Matthew 24:14)

We teach people the truth that leads to EVERLASTING life in happiness in God's new world soon to come. (John 17:3) Feeding the poor is a TEMPORARY solution to a tremendous problem. Show me in the Bible where Jesus gave the instruction to "Go, feed the poor." No, he said, "Go, make disciples of people of all the nations...teach them, baptize them..." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Other religions concentrate on running hospitals and schools, and collecting money to feed the poor. Look at all the money the churches have, but have they made a dent in world hunger?? The Catholic church alone could eliminate world hunger if they used some of their incredible wealth, but why don't they? And, of course, these organizations have many more members than Witnesses, so why are you not questioning THEIR motives and objectives?

You're still grasping at straws, Brogan. Hopefully most can see through your desperation.

One day maybe you will truly understand God's word and not let the perpetrators of the watch tower blind you to the truth.
