Why is McCain spazzing over Clark?
by bitterpills

I think I figured it out. After being a POW, McCain felt that he was entitled to be an admiral. He must have been determined not to have the temperament or the judgment because he was passed over. Now, he feels entitled to be CiC and he doesn't think that anyone has a right to suggest he be evaluated on any other criteria. The fact that Clark made the obvious point that he did concerning the need to look at other criteria must make McCain's blood boil.
simple, that's the only pub

he'll get.
Only because he can

it's not based upon any real lie or insult from Clark.

Unlike the Swiftboaters. Clark didn't malign McCain's service. He made a judgement call, McCain' service doesn't automatically confer Commander-in-Chief status.

Simple.

It's all he's got.

yep, but it's been incredibly difficult to get that to sink into a great many heads.

I think we're talking about dishonesty in most of their cases. I can't see that many being that stupid.

Yes I think we are seeing a dishonest response in order to capitalize on something that distracts from McCain's woeful candidacy. Republicans didn't want his candidacy and he was all but dead last year. Now they have find something to be excited about. Manufacture a "controversy", it kills some time before McCain malaise sets in again.

" He must have been determined not to have the temperament or the judgment because he was passed over."

He wasn't passed over, he left to run for Congress.

Nice swifty try. You Hopeheads are getting the hang of lying about veterans.
