Right-wingers should defend their patriotism
by jpmarat
+1 Reply

Seems to me the wrong people are defending their patriotism, something Barack Obama doesn't need to do.

On the other hand, it would be a good policy if Limbaugh, Hanitty, Savage, Coulter et al defended theirs. After all, they are not patriots, but parasites who make their millions hating other Americans (most of them not as stupid as their followers) and spreading lies and dissention.

Right-wingers are bullies and hate shouters, nothing more...or less. They defend their "patriotism" now by denigrating everyone who doesn't agree with their narrow view of the world.

That's an improvement; in times past, they took them out and hung them, or shot them, or gassed them.

Defend their patriotism?

Judging by thier loss of viewers, they need to defend their ratings before they do anything else!

Advertisers don't pay if no one is watching or listening, and these guys are in it for the money, nothing more or less cynical than that.

You need to learn for yourself. If you're over 2O, I can't teach you; nobody can.

But shitting on those who think differnetly than you ain't it. Squealing about your right to free speech while using the same argument to deny others that right ain't it.

Most of all, pretending to believe all this swill from the nut-bag right, and the neo-con death cult ain't it.

So, in other words, you can't.

No surprise there.

Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Nazi Party? Or a member of the KKK? Or a part of Pope Innocent III's Albagensian Crusades?

If so, then those words about physical violence may apply to you.

If not, probably not. However, your tendancy to take as a personal slight any criticism of right-wing politics in general makes my point; right-wingers are too angry and hate-filled to hold the reins of power.

Afternoon terrortoon glad to see you in such a chipper mood.

Patriotism...devoted love, support, and defense of one's country; national loyalty.

Ok, how's this:

- Eagle Scout
- Scout Master
- 22 Years USAF
- Service Disabled Vet
- Past President of my neighborhood council
- Current President of our local animal shelter
- Life member of Sergeants Association
- Member of local VFW
- Member of local American Legion

Does that qualify me? Hope so, I'm running out of extracurricular activities.

Obama 08!!!

Nope, sorry, it doesn't.

Quite a laundry list of accomplishments though.
