kill it: "Um, ..." in writing

The one I'd like to see go is using "um" in written text to indicated passive-aggressive bratty Gen-Y-esque (or worse, old people imitating the kids) disagreement:

"Um, o rly?"

"Um, try a Mac?"

And so on.

Just start your sentence indicating disagreement with "No, ..."; don't be such babies!
