For Jehovah's Witnesses a group that would only be 1% of the population of the United States they certainly do make an impact with their evangelizing and spreading the Gospel. You can't miss Jehovah's Witnesses in the overall society of the United States.
I love their evangelism and I admire the fact that they so encourage reading and public speaking even among young children.
I do find it interesting that for Jehovah Witnesses to have undergone so much castigation, abuse and criticism that the African American Blacks among them do not look upon the fact the United States has not, in full, given citizenship in the way of voting rights to all African American Blacks, vis-a-vie, the voting Rights Act having to be ratified every 25 or so years, to be offensive. I find it interesting that this is not a rallying point.
Court battles for religious rights is good. Standing for the rights of all is also good. GOD gives us all free will, so I'm not angry that they won't vote I just find it interesting.
I appreciate the fact that they do not participate in wars. I wish all the leaders, that wanted to send our children, husbands, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, lovers, friends, business associates..., to war, would go into a room and fight among themselves. GOD bless all of us.
A BIG PLUS to YOU. Peace Love Unity Understanding Service & Support
P.S. Have you seen how well and fast they build a Kingdom Hall? Do you know how fast they rebuilt around 700 homes in Houston when there was a big storm a few years back. For a group that may only be 1% of the population of the United States, when they do get behind something LOOK OUT!
