Let's be clear in saying that Serena and Venus (or the Jackson 5 for that matter) are NOT Witnesses. They may have once been associated with Witnesses, they may have even been baptized as a Witness, and perhaps thats why they choose to still identify themselves as such (sadly). However, as many of you have posted already, their lifestyles their choice of profession etc. dictate that they don't follow Bible principles and probably share little to nothing in common with Jehovah's Witnesses. Serena's own comments prove that she knows less about what Jehovah's Witnesses believe than Jacob Leibenluft who wrote this article. She said she would vote for Obama if she could, which proves she does not have a neutral stand in political matters as Jehovah's Witnesses do.

This imessage is a great example of how ignorant the world is when it relates to who Jehovah's Witnesses are and living in harmony with bible "principles". May Jehovah touch your heart!!!

I do not understand how you can say that Serena's own comments prove that she knows little about the "Witnesses" a persons proffession has nothing to do with there religious beliefs. "Bad associations spoil useful habits"....please, I was raised from birth around the "truth"...I played football in highschool, recieved a scholarship for college, and am now a fraud investigator...where did I get "spoiled"...while many of the teachings of the Witnesses are good to live by, many interpretaions are misleading and from personal views NOT fact! You dont know what the Williams family does when off the court and may live by the teachings of the Witnesses so please don't codemn what you dont know...a personal opinion does not mean she does not a neutral stand, especially if she chooses not to vote (by the way, Witnesses are counseled they shouldnt vote, not that they cant).

I bet if anything Serena is NOT a virgin and if that is the case then she can't be a JW. Because they teach you to remain a virgin until marriage. Fornication is a sin. And I know that neither Serena nor Venus have ever been married.
