Why I left
by MaryAnne
Favorites Reply

Have you noticed that there are a few Clinton supporters who have taken their ball and left the game (KFS).

These are people who have been campaigning hard, against Bush/PNAC for the past 7 years, and now, they're off on a sulk - you think you know people, until the shit hits the fan!

I left the board over a week ago, Many others have done the same.Decided to check in this morning and this is what I found. Now,I ask you, "Who is keeping this going?"

Dave tries to post a discussion and Wulk, who has no business telling American voters what to do and Shirley chime in with the same old crap. I rest my case as to who is damaging the board.

I would like to see the old board of friends who could laugh and joke with each other.Sadly,I do not see it.Nothing worse than poor winners.

I take full responsibility for falling in the muck. I do not take it for keeping this going.

shirley: Obama spent his campaign money wisely and efficiently, planning for the long term while Clinton blew money, planned for it to be over Feb. 5th, ran up debots all over the place, slimed Obama at every chance, as did her supporters (which as you can see, continues three weeks later) with literally the kitchen sink and now he should pay her bills for foolish spending? He owes her a place on the ticket? In your dreams! It the situation were reversed and Obama had lost, he and his supporters would have been alughed off the planet! Hillary went for the popular vote in the big states. Obama went for the delegate votes which the Dem rules dictated and which Hillary's advisors and supporters agreed to. Sympathy can be found in the dictionary somewhere between sex and syphalis. Enough of the drama already!

I don't see what you have to moan about, MA. It was an accurate observation.

I kept quiet, during most of the wrangling, but, I tell you frankly that the majority of the spite came from just three posters, and they weren't Obama posters.

There's an old saying about the heat and the kitchen.

That said, you're postings, aside from Clinton/Obama rants were welcome, and would be more than welcome again.

Re: Why I left
by MaryAnne

Yes,Wulk, I can see the above posts were written by Clinton supporters.Your memory seems to be very short.Do not try to blame this on Hillary supporters. They are mostly gone.

Which, BTW,I was not. I am not impressed with any of them.

I was concerned about the board though.

As to my posting or not,I do not need permission.

Re: Why I left
by Wulk

Ye Gods, what's up with you - who, in any way, means, or form, suggested that you need anyone's permission to post anywhere?

Mind, you were saying, that, I, as a non-American shouldn't be posting - is it just free speech for those who agree with you?

I'm not getting into an agruement with you, post where you want, if you want, and what you want, it's no skin off of my nose.

Re: Why I left
by MaryAnne

I can see you want to change the subject of the top posts.

Those were your words, not mine.I have been off the board.

I am off for the day, have better things to do than read more ,He did,she did.

I truly hoped it would simmer down.Deal with what you and Shirley are still doing to the board with no help from Hillary supporters.

You left?
by Lapcat

I hadn't noticed. I also hadn't noticed the loss of a "few" Clinton supporters (ie your best bud, Loree, who, even AS she's attacking others, claims to be under attack).

I usually don't agree with wulkie, but in this instance.....

The board has been just as it has always been. Politiks as usual, vitriol included. That's what most of us, you included (supposedly), are HERE for....heated debate. Remember? You love to argue (your words, not mine).

Get a grip, MA.

Re: You left?
by Lapcat
Correction: I didn't mean to infer that Loree was a Clinton supporter. Scratch that "ie". (it's early, no caffeine yet)
Pretty interesting isn't it, MA?
by SouthernGal

I haven't been around in quite a while and imagine my surprise [not really] when I stopped by to read the board [KFS] and found a certain group still going after the Clinton supporters.

I especially found this post offensive by genedio...here is an exerpt...

and most of you slope-heads are still rehashing the Clinton/Obama race or bashing Obama or McCain.

[snip]

Since he is a rabid Obama supporter it doesn't take much of an imagination to figure out who the slope-heads are which he is referring to.

If the Obama supporters are too blind and arrogant to see they need Sen. Clinton's supporters then I say when/if he loses the election they will have no one to blame but themselves and they will deserve to lose it for keeping this shite going.

It's their election to lose and since as evidenced by their arrogance towards the HRC supporters they believe he has this election in the bag...otherwise they'd be reaching out to the Clinton supporters instead of alienating them.

One more thing, MA.
by SouthernGal

Notice they attack us when we are here and attack/bitch about us when we are gone due to their personal attacks against us.

Re: Why I left
by Boltlady
Everybody is simply doing what they're supposed to do. That is to stay occupied with fighting over an upcoming election instead of paying attention to what is presently going on in DC. The bills being ignored and the one's being passed are what we should be discussing.

This whole thing is a prime example that people don't know how they will react in heavily emotional situations. Everybody always thinks they know but don't really until things happen.

The situation that our country is in is so devastating that people really are over emotional, want things to be different, but they don't know how to fix it so they pin their hopes on some candidate. The powers that be understand that and play it for all it's worth.

As for the input from people from other countries, it's an important addition to the board. After all, what happens here very much affects them too. While we may not like the idea of the NWO, the fact is that everything is much more global than it used to be. If people don't band together, the elite will win. That would not be a good thing.

and think of all the different people with different perspectives and different points of view who came together, from all those different viewpoints to make one beautiful picture.

That's what this place can be....maybe it was in some small way, maybe it can be again.

We've all made mistakes(no one more than me),we've all been here a while...nobody's perfect...like Billie Joe Shaver says ....Try and Try Again.

Rabid Obama supporter?
by genedio

You mean like this?

<link>

In my very first sentence of this top-post which you found so offensive, and to which you did not reply, I bashed those who were bashing both Obama and McCain without seeing the bigger picture. I also bashed those who just want to rehash the Clinton/Obama race. That's you guys. While Rome burns, you renew old grievances.

I do not have any grieviancesI Simply pointed out who is keepting this going.

I was a supporter of BOTH Clinton and Obama, as you know. I've not bashed either one of them.In fact, I warned all of you that the bashing of fellow Dems, from whichever side it came, was not a good idea.

I am now, however, tired of the rancor that some of you guys insist on perpetuating. I also find ironic that you ALL chose to return on the same day.

Here's my observation...take it or leave it:

You, and SG, and differentellen, and LaurieAnnM and dems rock and just possibly justoffal are McCain supporters, but not a one of you has the nerve (or is that balls?) to admit it. Instead, you keep bashing the Dem nominee.

If your foregoing years on the fray are not to be wasted, perhaps you should really take a little more time to reconsider the reasons for your anger and whether you really support Hillary who, by the way, supports Obama.
