I've always been amazed at how so many in America "claim" that America is this big racist nation yet if you just take off the blinders, you will find that it seems to tolerate & support anything concerning people-of-color.

I've been to many strict muslim nations and its either their way or the highway. You can't freely practise and believe in other non-muslim doctrines. Yet in America you can. Now I'm aware that there are those who are racist and hateful...NEWS FLASH! Most nations and peoples have them in their ranks as well.

I hear & read about how the people-of-color don't get a break and are discriminated against. Gee; I guess all of those wealthy & professional black people in America must be whites who spent too much time in the tanning booths.

Plus if you are looking for a job or career in America; many of the compnaies have statements saying they aggressively seek hiring minorities and women. Helpful hint: If you are white & male, don't apply.

So all of this BS about America being the most racist nation is usually promoted by "nation of islam" types and/or people who have never travelled overseas. I'll have to admit though; America is the most OBSESSED about race.

Yeah! Just think, blacks get all of the breaks, yet they still have triple or quadruple the unemployment rate as whites, same goes for poverty, they're only got one Senator, very few corporate executives, etc. How inferior must they be to get all of the breaks and still end up so poor as a group? And just look at the position of white men in this country now: despite the fact that the law pretty much forbids them to be hired, they still basically run everything. Think of the heroic effort it takes to succeed like that in the face of such discrimination! Black people have been held down for too long by their insufficient admiration for white men. Instead of criticizing the US, black people clearly need to find themselves some white mentors and imitate their every move. I'm sure redleopard would be more than willing to volunteer to show his less fortunate brothers how things should be done.

Just like you'll know nothing about all the great black people you might have the privilege to know if you weren't so invested in your hatred and desperate need to feel superior to others. The people I respect get their self-worth from the way they conduct themselves in the world, what they accomplish and how they treat others, not from what skin color they were born with. I met Keith Ellison, my Muslim Congressman, before he was elected. I was so impressed by his intelligence and righteousness, I encourage him to run for Congress. I am so glad I wasn't held back from meeting and appreciating him by my own prejudice.
