The Founders lived in a different time. They weren't perfect. They weren't prophets. They agreed to allow slavery and to officially count black men as 3/5th's of a person.
Their fear of "foreign entanglements" was justified in their era. The US was a minor player 232 years ago, and could have been crushed militarily or economically by some foreign escapades.
But times change. A global economy has led to significant economic prosperity in this country. It was our entanglement in WWII, and to a lesser extent WWI, that rocketed our economy and power to the top.
I'm sorry if xenophobic is a phrase you don't like. Unfortunately, I simply can't think of any other phrase that properly summarizes your position in this thread.
Again, when you use hyperbole regarding Senator Obama "screaming," you lose credibility. The man doesn't scream. Sorry if that annoys you. Learn to live with disappointment.
