He was raised by his grandparents, who were Iowan stick-in-the-mud old fashioned midwest church goers. He was raised by his mom who was big time liberal, smart cookie daughter of old fashioned stick-in-the-mud midwest Iowan grandparents. He's not muslim, and if he's typical of southside Chicagoians, he drives a little erratic. This is a very Dem and Lib city; this is where he got married and raised his kids, Barak is mostly a southsider from the windy city.... two things that never happen on the south side: 1) The White Sox win a world series 2) A Local Congressman becomes president of the US.

Obama claims his mother's family was conservative Methodists or Baptists from Kansas. However his mother's parents were members of a left-wing Unitarian church near Seattle. The church located in Bellevue, Washington was nicknamed "the little red church," because of its communist leanings.

My basic point. If Obama Sr was a Muslim, and active in his mosque, under Islamic Law doesn't make it a crime for Obama Jr to convert to Chrisitanity?

I mean, I'm naturally skeptical (hope I don't owe any royalties) of all anthropomorphic monotheism, but other than that . . .

Moreover, if you ARE the sort who (inexplicably) gives a rat's ass whether Senior is/was a Muslim, why would you be particularly concerned if Junior's conversion was criminal under Islamic law?

One, I would hope, that the entire Radical Islamic World would not take it upon itself to put out some kind of contract on a sitting United States president.

Nukes would be flying towards the Mid East and Mecca real quick, in my opinion.
