Ranger, are you even aware of how incoherent you are?
I did not prove your point. Arabic is a language, Islam is a religion. Hussein is an Arabic name.
How this shows an shocking "ignorance of Islam" is anyone's guess since I didn't even discuss Islam beyond pointing out that it was a religion. Do you deny that Islam is a religion and not a language?
As for the rest of your babble.
Allaabu Akbar must be Yiddish.
An inane comment that has exactly zero relevance to the discussion at hand. Alluhaakbar is Arabic just as Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheynu Melech ha'olam is Hebrew, Vater Unser, der Du bist im Himmel is German, and Communicántes, et memóriam venerántes, in primis gloriósæ semper Vírginis Maríæ, genitrícis Dei et Dómini nostri Jesu Christ is Latin.
You see, Ranger. Arabic, Hebrew, German, and Latin are what are known as languages.
The Hebrew excerpt above is the traditional beginning of many Jewish prayers, "Blessed are you, oh Lord our God."
The German excerpt above is from the Lord's Prayer, "Heavenly Father, who art in Heaven."
Finally, the Latin excerpt is part of a mass, "Communicating and reverencing the memory of the Virgin Mary, mother of our God, and Jesus Christ."
In other words, two are Christian prayers and one is a Jewish prayer even though they are in different languages. You can say them in any language, actually, and the meaning is usually the same. So, Alluhaakbar or "God is great..." A rose by any other name...
Islam traces a common root through Abraham.
Islam recognizes Jesus as a prophet.
Nice show, Ranger. Let's see, I was explaining that Hussein is an Arabic name that is common in the Arabic speaking world. It is often given in religious reverence to Husayn ibn Ali, but is also given in secularist contexts. This has absolutely nothing to do with the roots of Islam or whether Islam recognizes Jesus as a prophet, rather the roots of a common name.
Beam was using satirical exageration to try to trivialize Obama's blunders.
No, Beam was using satire to make fun of the blatant lies, distortions, and other rumors that have been spread on the internet.
Having the middle name, Hussein, for instance, is not a "blunder." Calling Obama a Muslim because his middle name is Hussein, though, is a lie. Saying Obama was schooled in a Madrassa is a lie.
Making a joke that Obama's name actually means "He who loves Jesus" is mocking the individuals that have focused on Obama's middle name as some form of evidence of Obama's supposed ulterior motives to enslave the white race. You see the difference?
Let's look at Beam's other comments:
Obama doesn't really wear a flag pin in the shower. Again, this is not "trivializing Obama's blunders," rather it is making fun of idiots who think that wearing a flag lapel (or not wearing one) is indicative of much more than fashion sense.
The Pledge of Allegiance--again, a joke. A joke making fun of the people that claim that Obama will not say the pledge (he has even led the pledge on the Senate floor) or put his hand over his heart during the pledge. (Also, an outright lie, not a "blunder.")
Tape of Michelle Obama at a conference on patriotism. Another direct slam of the outright lie that a tape exists of Michelle Obama going on a racist tirade at Trinity Church (later changed to the Sheraton when the early lie was proven to be a lie).
Hunting: I will give you this one--this is a reference to an actual blunder, Obama's "bitter" gaffe.
Hand on heart---A reference to the lie that Obama refuses to put his hand on his heart during the pledge. The above linked video disproves this.
Declaration of Independence tattoo and IPod--a reference to those that claim the man seeking the highest office in the nation is somehow unpatriotic.
Name--we have already covered this one extensively
Church--a reference to those that have called him Muslim or anti-Christian, etc.
etc. etc. etc.
These aren't covering up blunders. They are making fun of other rumors.
