Sir Ben, please
by redwing6

Kingsley seems to be aware of the skewering in the press because of his insistence for his moniker. When Christopher Moltisanti and Little Carmine try to line up a star for "Cleaver", they crash Kingsley's swag fair after an abortive meeting with Mr. Ben. When Imperioli calls him Ben, Kingsley corrects him in a calm, yet slightly imperious tone with "Sir Ben, please".

Wasn't it in Hollywoodland's column that reported that Paramount found Myers to be such a pain to work with that they deliberately scheduled 'LG' to open opposite "Get Smart", something they knew would clean his clock and wipeout his movie like a urine-soaked mop? Talk about cutting your nose off in spite of your face- he must have cheesed-off Redstone's wife something awful for this to happen.

deliberate?

I dunno -- there's also been a lot of talk that Get Smart was a stinker. I don't think it'll tank tho, and doesn't seem as bad as Love G sounds (I have seen Get Smart -- it's pretty funny, tho nothing like the fantastic TV series) -- I will not see Love G -- trailers looks desperately unfunny!)

Plus, trust me -- no studio wants to lose that much dough just to teach a difficult 'auteur' a lesson!
