A hollow moral core

Obama stood proudly in the spotlight wearing his shining suit of grass roots political financing while shunning "politics as usual". And, surprise, it is now politics as usual.

Obama is a "race healer" who understands, sponsors, tolerates and fails to denounce rampant racial hatred for some 20 years....and then "sees the light" just a few weeks ago.

Michelle Obama is being remade into a perky combination of Donna Reed and Lucille Ball to soften her intemperate gaffs.

Why have the Obama's at all? The DNC should give Pixar a call and them digitally fabricate the candidate they want perceived.
Useless rhetoric.

Campaigns have used public financing for years. Refusing it is politics as usual in your mind? The fact that his minister has seen violence direct at blacks, that he knows of the experiment where black men went untreated for syphillus to see what happens, the fact that he served in the marines.....all says to me that Wright has every right to say what he wants about the racism that he has seen in the world. It is unfortunate that he does not see the progress that has been made. It is also unfortunate that you don't see that 30 years ago, the words of Wright were much more reflective of the truth.

What is Cindy McCain, if not a perky Donna Reed? The rich woman who stole drugs from a non-profit and yet never even served a probationary sentence...

Why have McCain? Is uncle Fester busy?

The McCains are the McCains like them or not. They have not changed religions to get votes. They have not changed their names to be more ethnically correct or politically expedient. Cindy is who she always has been, not an Angela Davis to Mary Tyler Moore makeover.

It is called being "fake" for the sake of pandering votes. It is the very essence of what Barry says is wrong with politics. It is the hight of hypocrisy.

Then again he did promise change. I wonder which way the wind will blow next week? Will Obama become a Druid or what?

Obama has been a member of the same church for 20 years. He has gone to a catholic school and who knows how many different Christian churches before settling on Wright's particular congregation. I presume you are attempting to say he is really a muslim, no?

McCain....the guy who said that Robertson, Dobson and Hagee were agents of intolerance. Somehow these guys have changed, because now McCain likes them. Is that because McCain is pandering to the religious right?

McCain the guy who wants us to believe that he is the ethical candidate.....except that he and his wife have made money investing with the likes of Charles Keating. They've gone on vacations with Keating on his private resort in the Caribean. He has taken the Paxon private jet to a fundraiser on the Paxon CEO's yacht and the very next day sent a letter to the FCC to intercede on Paxon's application to be allowed to monopolize media markets.

Political expediency? I don't suppose you'd consider it somewhat pandering when McCain suddenly changed his mind on Bush's tax cuts? Sheez bubba, what has McCain not changed his mind on? Gay Marriage, the Confederate flag, how easy or hard the Iraqi war was going to be or perhaps how good or how bad the economy is.

He still hasn't decided what to say about the current president....has he done a good job? If so, why is he running so hard to get away from him?
