Obamaniac (noun) A person who blindly follows a candidate, ignors when that candidate lies to them about campaign financing pledge, fails to see the hypocrisy of hiring washington insiders for his campaign staff while saying he's about "change". Ignors when candidate says special interest groups have no place in his campaign yet says nothing when moveon.org run attack ads for him. Obamanics are known for irrational behavior when confronted with hard facts and reality and may respond with "you are a racist," or" you are just a Republican in disguise". When really confronted with the truth, they put their hand over their ears and say "Hillary go away.. Hillary go away... I cast out the demon, Hillary!" They are known to practice Obamathmatics, when it comes to the Electoral College which they believe is a George Bush plot. They believe the nation will magically provide 270 votes to Obama. Be very careful around an Obamaniac, they are not your normal democrat! It is about time moderates took back this party from Dean , Pelosi and Obama! they Do not represent the democratic party! We can start lobying now and stop this at the convention by nominating someone who can win.

We grew up watching it. The mud-slinging in place of issues and policy. The obfuscation and the "pivot" on issues in place of dealing with a problem. The willingness to use patriotism as a cudgel, which only works on those who do love their country.

Good question. I think, both. Although "maniac" is over the top. Because I observe things that are, and not as they are spun by the imbalanced, I have reason to be excited by the impending Obama presidency.

Now a question for you. Are you a jerk or a fool? From your writing i observe that there are no other possible options. But I do appreciate your ironic humor in placing "common sense" in your web name.

Indy, I'm a life-long Dem, and I know what the party platform is...do you? Seems to me you are the one who has an identity problem.

Throw out Dean, Pelosi, and Obama? Why, because they followed the rules? Because they sided with the candidate who had earned the most delegates? They didn't steal the nomination from Hillary. The fact is, neither candidate had enough votes to reach the finish line, so the party was going to have to drag one of them across it. The difference is that they didn't have to drag Obama as far as they would have had to drag Hillary. They would have had to pull the one with the most votes forward, regardless of which it was. The party worked the way it should have. Now, I don't disagree that the "system" should be re-worked, but that can be accomplished by working within the system.You want to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

So, you can go ahead and continue to call Obama supporters names, but it really doesn't accomplish much...well, maybe it just makes you feel better. If so, have at it...
