According to various sources, Bush is listening to those affected by the flooding in the midwest..He may be listening, but didn't he also listen in New Orleans? He may listen but it seems that he could care less. Why, after floods in the past do we still have insufficient protection from flooding in flood prone areas? Why is the infrastructure of our country in such sad shape? Why are we in debt up to our ears to China? Because from the top down in our government we have polititians who are living on extravagant salaries and can get by without doing anything except run for office. And we the people, let them carry on year after year, taking our tax dollars and doing nothing. Please wake up America!
