Full Disclosure: Slate

endorses Obama for president and blind and unquestioning and fanatical Obama worship is also appreciated from all members of the staff and its writing teams.

The Slate management thanks you for your understanding and indulgence in this matter.

Obamacracy is a form of government in which a 'god' or 'deity' (and we all know just who that 'god' is) is recognized as the supreme civil ruler. For believers, Obamacracy is a form of government in which divine power (Barack Obama) governs an earthly human state, either in a personal incarnation or, more often, via religious institutional representatives (i.e., fray posters), replacing or dominating civil government (we can only hope). Obamacratic governments enact Obamic laws.

And now we pray...Yes we can, yes we can, ...and repeat

How True-How True! And some people think that the media in America is Non-Biased".

Sorry children but so far the only people calling Obama a God are the same idiots who have claimed Bush was perfect and came from God-the extreme right wing.

Now we see how good you are at lambasting Obama for being black.

Lets see you show us ANYTHING that makes McCain worth a vote.

'Lets see you show us ANYTHING that makes McCain worth a vote.'

i love it when libs get all upset about the state of the mainstream press. let's see, they have pushed, cried, whined, threw hissy fits etc. to get quotas of chicks, negroes, cripples, or whatever while the best persons for the jobs are not hired. the very same quota system the demand has an effect they hate.

liberals should be forced to take ramifications 101 before we give into any future hissy fits creating 'special' categories of people.

First of all, Chang, the best dont need to get hired-they start their own companies and train others to be like them-they dont sit around waiting to be hired.

Secondly, the laws about hiring clearly state that a person must be qualified to do the job, not simply fit a racial or other minority status. If three white atchitects are competing with a black janitor for an archiects job, it wont go to the janitor. Furthermore, the laws dont apply to small business much at all outside of blatant isms.

But hey, go on and spew your ignorance. It just makes the rest of us look a whole lot smarter.

you can pin bunny ears on that pit bull, but i wouldn't try to feed in carrots PMS. jayson blair was an AA hire.

Re: Full Disclosure: Slate

Blair had a journalism degree too. In other words he was qualified.

Now lets look at a Bush hire as a comparison. Bush hired Brown to be the head of FEMA and his only experience with management was horse shows. Bill Clinton hired a guy who had been a former head of rescue operations for fire departments on a regional level. Who hired the "best man"?

What's up with the pointing out a Slate-Obama bias and basing it on this widget and book? Is it me, or does all this content amount to mocking his name and often attributing defensible and indefensible words with it. Gatewood is quick to scream "Slate Bias!", but I don't see much to gain for Obama by making words such as "Post-Obamalyptic" more mainstream?

Or, are you guys operating on the assumption of "there's no such thing as bad press"?

please shut the fuck up PMS. i have been pressured to hire people i didn't feel were the most qualified by upper management to fill government quotas. i know it happens dumbass, because i've seen it many many times. if it can happen in my industry, the possibility of it in the press is much higher because they are mostly bed wetting, guilt pushing, race obsessed liberals.

have you ever made it out of moms basement?

Chang, have you ever considered that incompetence comes in all colors? If you need proof, I suggest GWB.
