What are your sleeping habits?
by DocBill

How many hours do you sleep during the week/on weekends? What time do you wake-up/go to sleep during weeon weekends? Do you take sleeping pills/warm milk/ play soft music to fall asleep?

How do you wake-up: automatically, sunshine, birds chirping, roosters crowing, your pets nudging you; buzzers of clocks, digital alarms, radio/cd music, other?

Which kind of bed do you have: mattress on floor, king/queen/regular-size bed, sofa, sofa-bed, hammock. Do you sleep onSoft/hard/ or orthopedic mattresses/pillows. Do you prefer sleeping alone or cuddled with someone? Do you read a book/magazine/newspaper or watch tv/rented movie before going to sleep, Do you remember your dreams/how frequentl?Do have nightmares, how frequentl?Do they happen after an argument, watching scary/violent movies, eating spicy foods? Do you sleep better after having sex/ a warm bath/hot shower? Do you still get wet dreams?

GOOD NIGHT!!! PLEASANT DREAMS EVERYONE!!!

I go to sleep between 9p & 11p depending on how exhausted I am.

Abbie usually wakes up screaming around midnight, I go and pat her on her back till she falls asleep. She wakes up 2am and I go pick her up and sleepily just take her and lay her in my bed.

5:55am my alarm goes off and I hit the snooze

6:04 the alarm goes off, I drag myself up, jump in the shower and start my morning....

To fall asleep i need silence and darkness and I HAVE to have the fan going because I can't sleep if the air feels stagnet

I go to bed between 11:00 and 11:30 pm...and I sleep like a baby. I do dream often. I've had several dreams in one night before. But, most of the time, I don't remember them very well. I do go through periods where I have some sleep seizures. I wake up biting down on my tongue very hard. It's very bizarre and very painful. Another bizarre thing is that I sleep on a couch. I sleep up against the arm laying my head on the back of the couch. I can't seem to find a bed that is comfortable enough to sleep on. I end up waking up in pain. Hopefully, I'll find the right one someday. I would prefer to snuggle with someone, (in this case, Neil)....but when I actually want to fall asleep, I move over to my side and go to sleep. I just read an article the other day that 8 hours is not the necessity anymore for sleep. They're saying that anywhere between 6.5 and 7.5 hours of sleep is adequate. They say that anything over 8 hours is like having 5 hours of sleep. Interesting stuff.

I sleep anytime after 2 am, I am up by 10 am ,that means 8 hours, I wake by the internal clock, go to sleep thinking.

If the GFs are with me then I wake up early at about 7 and always see them out when they leave for work, they love my sacrifice of not sleeping upto my usual time.

What the hell's sleep? Probably sleep off and on about 4-5 hours. Get to bed around 4 or 5 AM (work nights), but usually up one or two times before starting the day at 10 or 11 AM.

Unless I have the luxury of having pain pills on hand, which will make me sleep about 6 or 7 hous. Wake up constantly though with or without the pills, look around and listen for a minute or two and go back to sleep.

Not abnormal for me though. Been that way since Vietnam.

I usually go to sleep between 12 to 1am. Tired and I wake at my leisure unless I am working, not 5:30 anymore rather 7am. If I wake early sometimes I will read and then go back to sleep until 9am. or 10. retirement is something I hope you all get to enjoy.

Working part time is perfect. Al rises early 2 mornings; on his way by 5:30 am.
