Gay folks hear this so often, we think it's the str8 national anthem:

"I would love my child if she were gay, but I would feel badly for her because being a lesbian is so hard."

But the problems gay folks encounter are not endemic to being gay.

They arise from str8 folks thinking they (str8 folks) somehow have to come to terms, negatively or positively, with gay folks.

On behalf of gay folks, I want to know, str8 folks:

Who asked you?

What if you just treated the folks you meet like the folks you meet?

And didn't first of all require potential friends, family members, and fellow citizens, to respond to the question,

So: do you take it up the ass?
