Torture
by ole southern belle
My personal opinion is that they should have been put in front of a firing squad! I seriously doubt they were tortured to the extent their countrymen use on their prisoners!

If we allow torture, or if as you say, we use firing squads, then we would have no right to protest, prosecute or even use their own torturing, etc, against them, nay, you would have made these methods part of normal warfare again.

If they are guilty of something other than defending their country from a foreign invader (no matter how rightous) then perhaps a firing squad is in order. Unfortunately, in America, we usually require some evidence beyond just the word of the President before we execute people. Hard to imagine I know, but its one of the things that (used to) make(s) us different.

Who exactly is 'they', ole southern bigot, ahem, i mean belle? Are you aware that we've tortured innocent people just to see if they know anything useful? I know you'd prefer to think of everyone in Iraq as a bloodthirsty terrorist, but that's just being willfully ignorant. You are advocating the execution of people who may or may not be guilty of a crime, simply because that's what the terrorists do too. What a shameful thing to say.
