McCain's flipflopping

There is a big difference between changing your ideas after 8 years when gas has gone from $1.50/gallon to over $4/gallon and Obama, who changes what he says from one day to the next. I'm by no means saying that McCain has all the answers, but I am sick and tired of most of the Democratic candidates telling everyone exactly what they want to hear, but having no substantial plans for actually accomplishing anything. Obama is charismatic and speaks well, so it is easy to see why people naturally believe in him. However, if you really listen to what he says and look at what he's done (very little in the way of government), there is no substance to his candidacy. He may be "popular", but he doesn't have what it takes to effectively lead this nation. Give him another 10 years in Washington to really be a part of what's going on and maybe one day he will be ready, but not now.

Substance?

A great brain, a good heart, strong leadership abilities, and a burning desire to make the world a better place...that's more substance than we have seen in a very long time in a Commander-In-Chief.

20 years of the current goofy republican party has just about destroyed america.

Clinton was more of a fiscal conservative than Reagan or either Bush.

We need the old republican party back. McCain had promise but about 2 years ago, he sold out to the new Republican party (probably so he could have a shot at becoming president).

McCain is more of the same-- i.e. Let's put everything on credit and let the kids pay the bill.
