Hey monkeys!
by doodahman

With the nominating contest behind them, Democrats in the crucial swing states seem to be coalescing around their eventual nominee. The Quinnipiac University poll shows Obama ahead of McCain in the three states for the first time in this contest.

•Florida: Obama edges McCain 47 - 43 percent;

•Ohio: Obama tops McCain 48 - 42 percent;

•Pennsylvania: Obama leads McCain 52 - 40 percent.

No president has won the White House without winning two of the three states since 1960.

Concerns about women who supported Hillary Clinton abandoning the Democratic nominee in favor of McCain also appear to be unfounded, according to the poll. Obama leads McCain by 10 to 23 percent among the poll of likely voters.

“Finally getting Sen. Hillary Clinton out of the race has been a big boost for Sen. Barack Obama,” Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, said in a news release.

Yes, once again, most of you turn out to be completely full of shit and the dood was right all along.

But by all means, keep writing down your opinions. Like they say, a million monkeys with a million typewriters in a million years.............

The Quinnipiac University poll?
by Gatewood

Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Thank you for that belly laugh.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha! Meanwhile, legitimate polls indicate that things are looking rather dismal at the moment for Obama. So it goes.

ah yes.

gatewood knows more than anyone else simply by instinct. no reason, data, or rationality will dissuade gatewood.

c'mon, gates! you have got to come to grips with reality- your party (if indeed you are a democrat) is gonna win this year with a great candidate! why do you have this annoying habit of trying to refute data with simple statements? simply stating something (i.e., "legitimate polls." which polls?) is not argumentation, it is mendacity. why are you always afraid to actually cite any references? you have never, as far as I remember, even offered one iota of proof to back up your tinfoil hat theory that the Obama nomination was a Brazille/DNC plot, for goshsakes! you continue this trend when you state things like "legitimate polls." what do you do for a living? factchecking at Faux News?

I really feel bad about harping on you, because i honestly don't like sounding like a jerk, and i don't want you to feel like i have any animosity toward you- in fact, i certainly don't want you to think that my beligerence is in any way reflective of a general mood of obama supporters. it really has little to do with politics and a lot to do with the fact that you constantly beg the question when you assert stuff without references. I am in a great mood these days, cause obama is gonna win this thing, i think. finally we will have a president for all americans, to break a new dawn over our country after this long national nightmare.

So, did the other gibbons elect you as official spokesmonkey, or did you take the role upon yourself?

Gatewood, with your faith in the polls showing that Obama may be slipping, would you be willing to take a little wager, my $500 against your $200 that Obama wins in November.

You write well but how well do you think and bet??

I'm sure Dood would hold the $$$ in trust, he is a lawyer.
