Does McCain have senile dementia?
by progressivebulldog

It could be Alzheimers or something similiar but McCain's continued slips, the latest being hot water for dehydrated babies, suggest that this is a good possibility.

Everyone silps up now and then but McCain has been doing so on an almost a daily basis. It may be nothing but can we risk placing our country in the hands of a man who may be losing his faculties?

Progressivebulldog -

Makes you wonder - last night on the news McCain was commenting on the other GOP contenders and rattled off most of the names and with a long pause - nearly forgot Mitt Romney's name.

I saw that you, pretty shocking since you would think that Romney would be easily remembered! On another note, guess that means Romney doesn't have a prayer in hell of VP. :-)

McCain's VP choice is very important. He would be the oldest president ever and has had the deadliest form of skin cancer. Of course any president could die in office but McCain's age and medical history make the odds much higher. Romney's not all that scary but what if he chooses Huckabee? Can you imagine a VP who wants to scrap the Constitution in favor of the Bible?

What worries me more though is McCain's mental status. We had one Alzheimer's president in the '80s. We don't need another.

No, he's just a Republican.
