A Shameless Plug

gets 300 MPG. Zero - 60 in 10 seconds. That's worth plugging, isn't it?

Speakin a plugs, ya know what they say ...

Buy stock in KY jelly - it can only go up.

Plugs - yeah - that's what I said.

Like in butt-plugs.

Do I have to explain everything to you, fer crissakes?

But does it have heated and cooled leather seats with two DVDs, 10 disc player, dual auto matic climate control, cooled and heated cup holders, 4WD , ability to tow 5 tons and room for four 250 pounders with all their clubs and coolers?

Cause I really like all that stuff.

These poor kids.

0-60 in 10 seconds?

How fast can it stop while going 60?

So the SW has their car, maybe the rest of will follow. I'd look up a link for hydroplaning, but I'm lazy.

Mrs. Wrylee has a hybrid Camry, which is a great car. We got 40.5 over the weekend (200+ mi round trip) when I drove up to setup the in-laws computers/network/printers - who thought old folks would need that much tech?

I know that you are one of those hyper-milers, but I just set the cruise-control and let 'er rip. On top of that, I set the CC to 75, so if you're willing to be annoying you could probably do better.

I'm not sure if they count the miles from the odo or the GPS as we got about 5 miles free from the ferry and that would have helped the average.

I'm too happy with my '87 CRX, that still pumps out 35 mpg even though it is the sport model. As soon as they put out a good pluggable hybrid (I only need 50 miles for R/T ) I'm on it.

I can't see sinking the energy into a new car that I can't use for ~short trips w/o gasoline. But bottom line, I need a summer & winter car.

Did you know that the CR-X
by ducadmo
is about to have a baby? THAT is my next car. Unfortunately, they are going to release it in Europe first.
Yeah, yeah - that's not the point

There's also the Tesla (look it up, but it's pricey) and the Volt. I think the neat thing is that this whole electric/hybrid/pluggable thing will open up the market to a lot of new and innovative players just like back in the old days when just about anybody could start a car company.

Now see, that I'd drive, and more importantly, be able to get in and out of.

Does it come in faded yellow with rock chips?

Yeah, I was just being facetious.
Just LOVE the crash test data.
