Russert, Champion of time management
by GregLDixon
The endless coverage of Tim Russert's sudden death was silent on what must have been one of his most amazing talents, that of time management. Tim was described as the hardest working man in television news, at the station at dawn, at the end of the day, on weekends, seemingly living there. Yet he was described as the consummate family man, never missing his son's ballgames or school events and a devoted husband. Apparently he went to mass multiple times per week and whevener a friend had a sick kid, a father visiting in town, or a sore toe, Tim Russert was there for him. He mentored hundreds of people, had time to talk with janitors in the hallways, and was contantly traveling....We can only conclude that Tim required no sleep and that he had the most tolerant wife on the planet.
