As a common American, a man who is among those who is economically diabled, not a member of the media, a regular hard working American, i'd like to take this opportunity to say how tasteless and rude this piece was."The cannonization of Saint Russert" is a sickening thing, i will not even give it the credit to call this crap writing. I am the common man, and I, as many of my political savy friends & relatives feel like I lost a member of my family the day Tim Russert left us. It wasn't about NBC, or MSNBC praising one of their own, it was for all of us, I frankly, didn't miss a minute of it, alot of it I have watched twice some three times.
Tim Russert was fair, something totally uncommon in the news media today, brillant, and yet a common man from a common background. What is your deal Jack? What is your angle? Jealousy? I simply don't get it. I find your words far more offensive than Don Imus' infamous rant that ended up in his termination from MSNBC.
Your article brings absolutely nothing to the table, it is disgraceful as you are. Mr. Russert and his family deserves this. If you had a grain of awareness, the praise for Tim comes not only from NBC but from politiians, world leaders, common Americans, everyone. I believe you need to get a clue, because you obviouly do not have one.
Do America a favor.
