Obama and the Mrs. do not act or speak hip-hop. They conjugate their verbs. They worked very hard to get where they are.

Obama is not a "mogul" with his own line of cologne. As if this is a goal for ANY kid, let alone a black one.

as for your obsession with moguls: you hate capitalism? You don't want people to make a ton of money on owning clothing lines, clubs, restaurants, and share of Vitamin Water worth millions of dollars? it's hard to see people hustle if your hero is someone who had dad's friends buy him a baseball team after they got him into Yale.

I am disinclined to agree with your interpretation of hip-hop. it seems uninformed and incomplete. it's easy to cherry-pick outliers of a subculture. Hippies are all smelly and lazy, Republicans all want to steal money from children while destroying the environment, Libertarians are all nuts who lurk only on the internet and in Idaho, blondes are all dumb, and lawyers are all worse than Republicans.

that doesn't mean hippies never got anything accomplished (they must have, right?), Republicans are ALL evil (they can't ALL be bad, some might just be misguided), Libertarians aren't all nuts (or, some might live outside Idaho), and there have to be a few smart blondes and nice lawyers (none come to mind).
