If your need to shoehorn all pictures into neat, little genres prevents you from appreciating the audacity of Lee's vision in The Hulk, then you have no business commenting on film.

Maybe it was a failed experiment, neither fish nor fowl, and an uncomfortable compromise that confounded as much as it astonished, but it has proven far more memorable and interesting than most superhero films in which, once the thunderous action smoke has cleared, very little remains other than ringing in the ears.

Once the public finally tires of by-the-numbers superhero films, they might come to appreciate directors who can imbue a tired genre with something more than "Whizz! Bam! Pow!".

Mr. Lee, you should at least have the decency of posting under your own name. It's OK, some of your other movies were fine.
