It's a real concern - not partisan

My mother is one year older than McCain and is in the beginning stages of dementia. Not that McCain is heading down that same path, but I often hear comments from McCain that sound very similar to what my family's been hearing for over five years. (Of course, the following things could have more to do with the fact that he's a politician than a senior citizen.)
- Making a statement only to deny it
- Inconsistencies in repeating the same information to different parties
- When confronted with the above, loses temper and makes accusations
I'm not being flip in pointing this stuff out. It's easy to say McCain's out of touch, he's not hip, he doesn't know how to use a computer, etc. That stuff's easy to say and it doesn't really mean anything. But I'm seeing patterns in his behavior that are very familiar to me and they should be giving people pause. If he were a Dem, I'd be saying the same thing.
I think McCain is still capable of making a contribution, but POTUS shouldn't be it.
