I confess. Even though I am a liberal, I agree with conservatives that identity politics based upon race, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation and other superficial attributes needs to go bye-bye.

This is exactly what Obama is trying to tell us by the way. He is saying that the issues count, not the messenger. Is this not the proof that all the various groups of victims out there finally convinced everyone else to treat them equally? I read posts by feminists and my eyes glaze over. What the hell are they talking about? Women do all sorts of things that men do and they do it well. Golda Meir ran Israel, Maggie kicked Gaucho ass, Indira faced down the west for decades, Benazir ran a Moslem country for Chrissakes. We will have a female President when that female wins the nomination and then the election. Its that simple folks.

The 60s are over, end it now.
