her goal of damaging Obama. I didn't listen to her exit speech and it wouldn't have changed my opinion of her if I had. She's a clinton...enough said.

I am an Obama supporter, but I give her credit for an outstanding speech. You should have listened to it. You may not like her personally, but it is hard to deny that she is an outstanding Democrat, and a great leader. She understands priorities, and it is critical we put a Democrat in the White House this year. Anyone who TRULY cares about ending the war, economy recovery, Universal Health Care, secure Social Security, and protecting a woman's reproductive rights will vote for the Democratic ticket...these IS a defining moment in time, this IS our moment. We can't wait four more years for another shot, by then McCain may have appointed a conservative judge to the Supreme Court, attached Iran, furthered padded the pockets of the rich, and the death count in Iraq will have doubled. TIME IS UP, THIS IS OUR ONE CHANCE.

I concur. Hillary Clinton gave an excellent speech yesterday. If you haven't seen it, you certainly should.

Hillary gave an excellent speech Saturday. I would like to see her in the Senate Majority Leader role. She's a firebrand; Ried is milquetoast. That would give her a position of leadership and she would help shape policy within the Senate.

There are those who are floating the idea of a seat on the Supreme Court for Senator Clinton. Wouldn't that be a thumb in the eye to the pseudo-constitutionalists!
Re: She accomplished

maybe MCCAIN will ask hillary to be HIS vice president

i could only laugh my ass off if THAT happened

Why?
Re: She accomplished

THX, I don't think Hillary is qualified to sit on the Supreme Court any more than Harriet Miers, though Hillary is a far more capable person. Supreme Court seats can't be granted as political rewards, and although Hillary has a law degree, she doesn't have the legal background to earn a seat on the nation's highest court.

Dems Rock, that's actually a great idea. The Republicans who can't stand her would have a great reason to stay home come Election Day.

Oh good God, you are comparing Senator Clinton to Harriet Miers! Are you f-ing kidding me?!

Anyway---political rewards aside---the Supreme Court is rife with career academics with almost zero experience outside of the judiciary. Hillary Clinton has crafted laws as a Senator (HUNDREDS of LAWS), and knows something about enforcing/enacting them through the presidency of Bill Clinton. The SCOTUS could only benefit from someone like her.
